The Al-Baha region and its affiliated governorates are rich in many historical and heritage monuments, which has made it witness an increasing growth in the establishment of private museums, which contributes positively to the tourism movement in the region.
Regarding the experience of establishing private museums in the region, the founder of the “Facade of Authenticity Museum,” Saeed bin Nasser, explained to SPA that the purpose of establishing the museum is to be a distinctive and distinctive mark in the experience of private and personal museums, indicating that the museum contains thousands of rare historical pieces, some of which date back to more than 1,400. General and representing various eras, it includes documents, tools, stone sculptures, books, records, tables, chairs, and textbooks from more than 50 years ago. The museum also contains a number of ancient weapons, swords, daggers, and coins, some of which date back more than a thousand years, in addition to jewelry and water vessels. Sewing machines, agricultural and plowing tools, cooking collectibles and adornments for both sexes. The museum also contains a collection of jewellery, tools for making them, women’s clothing, tools for making yoghurt and ghee, toys and old appliances, especially those that accompanied the Renaissance era of classic cars, in addition to a collection of archaeological manuscripts and hundredsVarious heritage pieces.
Speaking about the rare pieces contained in his museum, Bin Nasser pointed out that the museum contains historical pieces extending back more than 1,500 years, including coins, vessels, manuscripts, and many others.
Today, private museums in the Al-Baha region have become an attraction for a number of tourism companies, with their added historical and heritage value, and with the wide windows they represent for reading heritage, identity, and history.
